Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Cargo Operation Staff based in Soekarno Hatta Airport Area, Tangerang, Indonesia.
Processing Air Waybill (AWB) data from cargo forwarding companies
- Processing all regulatory checks set by various authorities, e.g., Air Cargo Advance Screening (US ACAS)
- Drawing up a Cargo Load Plan for export flights
- Handling transit cargo according to the loading plan
- Pre-manifesting and manifesting in accordance with the order list, loading plan, and complying with all loading restrictions/requirements
- Communicate closely with warehouses and Load Control to provide accurate and timely load figures.
- Handle documentation and post-flight activities in accordance with established standards
- Accepts a wide range of cargo products, including general cargo, Pharma LIFT, live animals, dangerous goods, etc., in accordance with company and industry electronic safety, security, and electronic documentation standards, such as E-Air Waybill Management (E-AWB)
- Perform duties as designated by the Cargo Supervisor and other senior levels
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Operations and the ability to manage and oversee logistic processes effectively.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Domiciled in Tangerang or the area around Soetta Airport area.
- Minimum high school/vocational school or equivalent.
- Experienced in the field of airline cargo operation for at least 1 year.
- Having basic cargo and DG (Dangerous goods) certificate and others (if any).
- Good oral and written English skills.
- Ability to operate a PC.
- Able to work in shift schedules (including night shifts, weekends, and public holidays).
