We are currently seeking a Career Counselor to support our secondary students in their university preparation and post-school pathways.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive university and career guidance for secondary and junior college students
- Support students through the university application process, including university selection, personal statements, applications, and deadlines
- Advise students on pathways to universities in Indonesia and overseas (UK, US, Australia, Asia, and Europe)
- Organise and coordinate university fairs, career talks, and campus visits
- Guide students in subject selection aligned with career and university goals
- Work closely with school leaders, teachers, and parents to ensure aligned student support
- Maintain accurate records of applications, offers, and student destinations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Education, Psychology, Counselling, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Career Counselor or University Guidance Counselor, preferably in an international or Cambridge school
- Strong knowledge of international university systems and admissions processes
- Excellent communication, counselling, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build strong rapport with students and parents
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple applications and timelines
