It is one of the few-specialized companies in exhibition service in China, mainly engaged in international exhibitions, conferences, B2B publishing, e-commerce and exhibitor Training. Meorient is also the UFI member and holds the vice chairman position of China Convention & Exhibition Society.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
As a Business Development Manager for Machinery Sector, YOU WILL responsible for:
- Buyer Acquisition & Market Expansion: Take ownership of expanding the local buyer base in the assigned machinery categories. Develop and execute effective strategies to attract, recruit, and onboard buyers, ensuring steady growth in user numbers and platform engagement.
- Lead Generation & Business Opportunity Development: Be accountable for driving lead generation and increasing the number of business opportunities (RFQs) generated by the platform.
- Buyer Relationship Management & Retention: Establish and nurture strong relationships with key buyers, focusing on their long-term engagement and satisfaction.
- Data-Driven Buyer Insights: Regularly monitor buyer behavior and activity on the platform, utilizing data insights to identify growth opportunities, optimize buyer experience, and enhance service offerings.
- Cross-Industry Collaboration: Proactively seek out and establish strategic partnerships with organizations from related industries. Use these partnerships to increase the platform's exposure and drive business growth through cross-industry initiatives and promotions.
- Industry Engagement & Representation: Represent the platform at industry events online and offline, increasing buyer awareness, generating new leads, and positioning the platform as a leader in the local machinery market.
Job Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in business development or sales within the machinery industry (Plastics and Packaging, Food Processing Machinery, Logistics Machinery & Printing Machinery)
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related fields.
- Strong network and resources in the local market, particularly in machinery procurement and manufacturing sectors.
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to manage teams and drive results.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
