Purpose
As a Secondary Business Teacher, your primary role is to create a dynamic and engaging learning environment for students. You will be responsible for implementing instructional activities, fostering student understanding of Business concepts, and contributing to the overall success of the Business education program.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelors degree in a Business-related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in an international school setting.
- Relevant degree and teaching certifications.
- Minimum 2 work references from previous employers.
- Cambridge, MAP, and WIDA experience a plus.
- Having experience working with SEN students will be an advantage.
- Police record check.
- Proficiency in the English language.
- Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices for young learners.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Passion for teaching and a commitment to providing quality education to young learners.
- Proficient computer skills.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Plan and facilitate classroom activities, ensuring a smooth flow of lessons and maintaining an organized learning environment.
- Provide extra support to students in understanding business topics, addressing questions, and offering clarification.
- Integrate technology tools and resources into the business curriculum, enhancing the learning experience and preparing students for advancements in the field.
- Engage with students during class discussions, group activities, and projects to reinforce business concepts and encourage active participation.
- Handle administrative duties such as recording grades, maintaining attendance records, and organizing business-related events.
- Foster positive relationships with students, serving as a mentor and resource for academic and personal development.
- Attend and participate in school meetings, professional development activities, and other school-related events as required.
- Participate in extracurricular activities, excursions, events, and any other activities.
- Adhere to all school policies and procedures.
