Job Description Summary:

The S/4 HANA Order to Bill Process Lead is a critical role in the successful implementation of SAP S/4HANA for end-to-end order-to-bill processes. As a member of the IT project team, the Process Lead will bridge the gap between IT and business stakeholders, ensuring a seamless integration of S/4HANA with existing business processes and other applications. The Process Lead will be responsible for end-to-end process design, documentation, and solution blueprinting, with a strong focus on clean core adoption and minimizing customizations. The scope includes both intercompany and external sales.

Job Description:

Process Design and Documentation:

  • Collaborate with business process SMEs and owners to gather requirements, analyze existing processes, and design optimized order-to-bill processes within the S/4HANA framework.
  • Document end-to-end processes, including:
  • Order to Bill: Sales order initiation, pricing, delivery scheduling, billing, invoicing, and credit management for intercompany and external sales.
  • Ensure alignment of documented processes with SAP best practices and industry standards.

Solution Blueprinting:

  • Work closely with the S/4HANA functional team and other application teams to define the technical solution blueprint for order-to-bill processes.
  • Drive the adoption of clean core S/4HANA functionalities and prioritize requirements to minimize customizations.
  • Utilize SAP BTP or other side-by-side solutions for customizations when necessary, ensuring a well-integrated and maintainable solution.
  • Co-sign off on the solution blueprint, ensuring alignment with business requirements and technical feasibility.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Engage with business process SMEs and owners from sales, logistics, production, transport, and finance departments to obtain sign-off on process designs and solution blueprints.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings to ensure alignment and understanding among all stakeholders.
  • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating complex requirements into actionable solutions.

Testing and Training:

  • Perform functional acceptance testing of order-to-bill and transport processes in S/4HANA prior to user acceptance testing.
  • Develop comprehensive training materials for key users, covering both S/4HANA functionalities and associated business processes.
  • Conduct training sessions for key users to ensure a smooth transition to the new system and processes.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor&aposs degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Certification in SAP S/4HANA Sales and Distribution is highly desirable.
  • 5+ years of experience in order-to-cash processes in SAP implementation projects.
  • Proven track record of leading process design and implementation initiatives.
  • Experience in a consulting role is a plus.
  • Deep understanding of order-to-bill processes (sales, pricing, billing, collections) and transportation management principles and practices.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Sales and Distribution (SD), Billing (FI-CA), and PP, MM
  • Experience with SAP Activate methodology or other project implementation methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Understanding of intercompany processes and the specific requirements of the palm oil industry (e.g., fresh fruit bunch transport, bulk product delivery) is a plus.

PREFERRED SKILLS (nice to have but not mandatory):

  • Experience with SAP BTP or other SAP cloud platform solutions.
  • Knowledge of integration technologies (e.g., EDI, IDoc) and data migration strategies.
  • Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies.
  • Experience in change management and training delivery.
