We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive growth in the Indonesia IT staffing and recruitment market. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in client acquisition, relationship management, and a deep understanding of Indonesia's IT hiring landscape.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Client Acquisition
- Identify, target, and acquire new clients across Indonesia for IT contract staffing, permanent hiring, and managed services.
- Develop and execute strategies to expand business opportunities in sectors such as BFSI, Telecom, E-commerce, Manufacturing, and Technology.
- Generate leads through networking, cold calling, industry events, and market research.
- Build a strong sales pipeline and convert leads into long-term clients.
Client Relationship Management
- Maintain excellent relationships with key decision-makers (HR, Procurement, Delivery Managers, CIO/CTO level).
- Conduct regular client meetings to understand hiring needs and provide tailored staffing solutions.
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
Market Knowledge & Strategy
- Stay updated with IT market trends, technology talent demands, competitor activities, and salary benchmarks in Indonesia.
- Provide insights to leadership for developing competitive business strategies.
- Identify emerging opportunities and propose new service offerings as per market demand.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience (37 years) in IT staffing, recruitment, or HR solutions sales in the Indonesia market.
- Ability to add 1-2 accounts in a month.
- Strong network of corporate contacts in Jakarta and other key regions.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated success in meeting sales targets and generating revenue.
- Ability to understand IT/Non IT job roles, technologies, and market demand.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with multinational staffing firms or local Indonesian staffing companies.
- Knowledge of Indonesia's employment regulations and staffing compliance.
- Bahasa Indonesia proficiency (preferred but not mandatory if well-versed with the market).
