Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Business Development Representative. The role involves identifying and generating leads, developing client relationships, and aiding in driving sales goals. The representative will also work collaboratively with the sales and marketing teams to implement business development strategies, communicate with prospective clients, and contribute to growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Telemarketing & Lead Engagement
Conduct outbound calls to engage education institutions and decision-makers
Follow up on leads from campaigns, website forms, webinars, and events
Confirm interest, readiness, and qualification before routing to BD
Lead Qualification & Meeting Booking
Perform first-level qualification based on role, institution type, needs, and timeline
Book meetings or demos for BDMs when qualification criteria are met
Pre-Event & Support
Conduct pre-event outreach to confirm attendance and engagement
Support event lead collection and initial triage
Assist in identifying high-priority leads during or immediately after events
Post-Event Follow-Up & Re-Qualification
Perform structured post-event outreach to attendees
Re-qualify leads and identify next steps (meeting, nurture, or partner routing)
CRM Data Management
Maintain accurate records in HubSpot CRM
Ensure proper tagging, segmentation, and lifecycle tracking
Monitor lead follow-up status and prevent lead leakage
Lead Lifecycle & Nurture Coordination
Support lead progression from inquiry to qualified opportunity
Assist with nurture follow-ups in coordination with marketing workflows
Partner Outreach Support
Assist with outreach coordination for partner-related campaigns
Support partner or agent lead follow-up where required
Market & Target Research
Support target account and prospect list building
Conduct academic calendar and market timing research to support outreach planning
Requirements & Qualifications (Must-Haves)
2-3 years of experience in telemarketing, business development support, or inside sales
Comfortable making outbound calls and engaging education decision-makers
Hands-on experience with outreach tools such as Apollo or similar platforms but not mandatory
Strong communication and persuasion skills
Based in Thailand with ability to work across regional time zones
FLUENT ENGLISH (spoken and written) is mandatory for this role.
Proficiency in additional Asian languages will be considered an advantage, with Chinese (Mandarin) being highly preferred.
