About Us

Rosedale International Education delivers the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) through a growing global network of partner schools. Working across 17+ countries, we support schools in offering a recognized Canadian secondary qualification that opens pathways to leading universities worldwide.

As we accelerate our growth in Southeast Asia, we are looking for a results-driven Business Development Manager who can quickly build momentum, open doors with decision-makers, and convert active opportunities into partnerships.

This role suits a hands-on BD professional who understands the education ecosystem and is comfortable being measured on outcomes, not just activity.

Role Focus (First 3-6 Months)

This is a high-ownership, execution-focused role responsible for driving new school partnerships across Southeast Asia.

You will lead the full business development cycle, from market mapping and prospecting to commercial negotiation and contract closure, while representing Rosedale with credibility at the leadership and board level.

This role is ideal for someone who:

  • Understands how private and international schools make strategic decisions
  • Can navigate education leadership conversations confidently
  • Is comfortable being measured on results, not just activity

This is a high-priority, execution-led role with clear expectations.

Immediate Priorities (First 3 -6 Months)

  • Build a qualified pipeline of partner school opportunities across key Southeast Asian markets
  • Actively engage school owners, principals, and senior leadership teams
  • Progress discussions from initial meetings through to commercial and contractual stages
  • Close initial partnership agreements within the first 3-6 months
  • Establish a strong regional presence and credibility for Rosedale

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive new partner school acquisition across Southeast Asia and adjacent markets
  • Identify, approach, and engage decision-makers at private and international K-12 schools
  • Present the Rosedale OSSD partnership model clearly and credibly to school leadership and boards and deliver compelling presentations of the Rosedale OSSD partnership mode
  • Own the full BD cycle: prospecting, meetings, follow-ups, proposals, negotiations, and closures
  • Represent Rosedale at targeted education events, workshops, and meetings (as relevant)
  • Work and collaborate closely with internal academic, onboarding, and marketing teams to support and ensure smooth partner onboarding and transition
  • Track market trends, competitor activities, and provide regular insights to the leadership team
  • Provide structured market intelligence and competitor insights to leadership
  • Achieve quarterly and annual growth targets for partner acquisition and revenue.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Education, or a related field (master's preferred).
  • 5-8 + years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or partnership management.
  • Must have prior experience in the education sector, particularly in secondary/high school education.
  • Existing relationships or access to private/international schools in Southeast Asia strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales and partnership targets.
  • Comfortable working independently with limited handholding.
  • Experience negotiating contracts and managing complex stakeholder environments
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Willingness and ability to travel within the region, as required

What We are Looking For

  • A practical, commercially minded BD professional
  • Commercially sharp and execution-focused
  • Someone who understands how schools make decisions and how long (or short) those cycles can be
  • Strategic thinker who can also move quickly to close
  • A relationship builder who can balance credibility with urgency
  • Comfortable being accountable for outcomes, not just meetings
  • Confident engaging senior leadership and school boards
  • Resilient, proactive, and outcome-oriented

Why This Role

  • Immediate opportunity to make visible impact within the first 3-6 months
  • Attractive performance-linked earning potential
  • Opportunity to represent a respected Canadian curriculum with strong global recognition
  • Direct exposure to senior leadership and regional growth strategy
  • Long-term growth potential following successful initial delivery

How to Apply:

Interested candidates should share their CV and a brief note highlighting relevant education-sector BD experience and recent partnership outcomes.
