Build new markets for connected mobility.
Queclink is seeking a commercially driven Business Development professional with at least three years of relevant experience to expand our tracking and video telematics business across the Asia-Pacific region. This role is designed for someone who already understands consultative B2B prospecting and pipeline development and is ready to take greater ownership of regional market growth.
- The strongest candidates will bring experience from the IoT, fleet-management, tracking, connected-vehicle, or video-telematics industry. Related experience with a hardware manufaturer, distributor, systems integrator, or related technology provider is especially valuable.
What you will do
- Identify, research, and develop new business opportunities for Queclink's tracking and video telematics solutions across assigned APAC markets.
- Build and maintain a qualified pipeline of prospective customers, distributors, channel partners, systems integrators, and project opportunities.
- Conduct targeted outreach, discovery conversations, product presentations, and follow-up activities to advance prospects through the business-development cycle.
- Learn Queclink's portfolio, approved use cases, competitive positioning, and technical and commercial boundaries so that customer needs are matched to appropriate solutions.
- Work closely with Sales, technical, product, and marketing colleagues to qualify opportunities, coordinate demonstrations and evaluations, and support a disciplined handoff or joint pursuit.
- Develop relationships within the fleet, transportation, logistics, insurance, security, public-sector, and connected-mobility ecosystems.
- Identify government-related tenders, public-sector programs, and partner-led projects where Queclink solutions may be a fit, and coordinate internal review and support.
- Maintain timely and accurate prospect, activity, opportunity, and next-step information in the company CRM.
- Monitor customer needs, competitor activity, regulatory developments, and market trends and provide structured feedback to leadership.
- Represent Queclink at customer meetings, partner visits, trade shows, and industry events throughout the APAC region.
What makes you a strong fit
- At least three years of relevant experience in business development, B2B sales development, channel development, or solution sales.
- Relevant industry experience in vehicle or asset tracking, fleet technology, IoT, connected mobility, video telematics, mobile video, telecommunications hardware, or a closely related field.
- Demonstrated ability to identify prospects, conduct outreach, qualify needs, build relationships, and develop a measurable sales pipeline.
- Strong commercial drive, persuasive communication, resilience, and consistent follow-through.
- Ability to learn, retain, and accurately apply technical product and use-case information.
- Strong written and spoken English; professional proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is strongly preferred.
- Experience using Salesforce or another CRM to manage prospecting activity and opportunities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across functions, cultures, and APAC time zones.
- Bachelor's degree in business, sales, marketing, communications, engineering, technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Willingness and ability to travel within Indonesia and internationally across the APAC region as business needs require.
Preferred differentiators
- Experience working for a direct or adjacent telematics manufacturer, distributor, or systems integrator.
- Established relationships within tracking, fleet-management, or video-telematics markets.
- Familiarity with government-related projects, public-sector procurement, tenders, or partner-led government opportunities.
- Experience developing business through distributors, technology partners, mobile network operators, or regional channel ecosystems.
Selection process
Finalists may be asked to prepare and present a brief hypothetical two-year business-development plan for an assigned APAC market or product area. The exercise is intended to assess market research, prioritization, communication, and commercial thinking. Candidates must not disclose confidential information belonging to a current or former employer or other third party.
