Job Description

The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving company growth by identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders. The role involves market analysis, strategic planning, and implementation of initiatives that enhance the company's market presence and revenue.

Responsibilities

Business Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business objectives and growth targets
  • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities, trends, and competitor activities

Partnerships & Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders
  • Negotiate and close high-value business deals and agreements

Sales & Revenue Growth

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to increase revenue
  • Work closely with the sales team to develop proposals, pitches, and presentations

Product/Market Expansion

  • Identify market needs for new product and potential new markets for expansion of existing product
  • Collaborate with product teams and marketing to develop new product based market needs and develop entry strategies for new or existing product

SaaS Revenue Growth

  • Assist the company in designing and implementing strategies to increase revenue from SaaS products
  • Support initiatives aimed at achieving 3x the current company revenue from SaaS products

Lead and Supervise New Product Implementation

  • Lead the planning and execution of new product launches to ensure successful implementation
  • Supervise cross-functional teams to meet project goals and deadlines

Performance Monitoring

  • Set and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for business growth
  • Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on progress and challenges

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree (MBA) is a plus
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and building strong client relationships
  • Experience in identifying market needs for product development or sourcing from partners is a plus
  • Familiarity with SaaS products and proven ability to drive revenue growth in this area
  • Ability to analyze complex market data and develop effective strategies
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong negotiation skills with a proven ability to close deals
  • Strong interpersonal skills to establish and maintain partnerships
  • Understanding of market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Proficient in using CRM software and other business development tools
  • Results-oriented with a proactive attitude
  • Strong leadership and team collaboration skills
  • Adaptability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
