Job Description
Key ResponsibilitiesRevenue Growth & Market Expansion
- Own and drive new business development for the market research platform, with full responsibility for sales pipeline, deal execution, and revenue delivery.
- Identify, qualify, and convert new enterprise clients across priority industries such as FMCG, financial services, technology, retail, and telecommunications.
- Develop strategic account plans to expand wallet share within existing clients through cross-selling and upselling platform capabilities.
Client Engagement & Solution Selling
- Act as a trusted commercial advisor to senior client stakeholders, including Marketing Directors, CMOs, Insights Heads, and Strategy leaders.
- Translate client research, consumer insight, and business intelligence needs into compelling platform-based solutions.
- Lead product demonstrations, proposals, negotiations, and contract closures, working closely with research, product, and delivery teams.
Partnership & Ecosystem Development
- Build and manage relationships with strategic partners, agencies, and ecosystem players to extend market reach.
- Monitor competitor activity, pricing trends, and market dynamics to refine value propositions.
Sales Strategy & Reporting
- Contribute to go-to-market strategy, pricing models, and commercial frameworks.
- Maintain accurate forecasting, CRM discipline, and reporting to senior leadership.
- Consistently meet or exceed revenue and growth targets.
The Successful Applicant
Executive Candidate ProfileExperience & Track Record
- Minimum 8+ years of experience as a Business Development Manager, Sales Manager, or equivalent commercial role.
- Proven success selling market research platforms, insights solutions, SaaS products, or data/analytics services to enterprise-level clients.
- Demonstrated ability to close complex, high-value, consultative sales engagements.
- Experience working in or selling to multinational organizations is strongly preferred.
Commercial & Professional Skills
- Strong understanding of market research methodologies, consumer insights, analytics, or digital data platforms.
- Strategic thinker with hands-on execution capability across the full sales cycle.
- Highly developed negotiation, influencing, and executive-level presentation skills.
- Comfortable operating in a high-growth, performance-driven environment.
Education & Language
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
- Fluency in English required; additional regional or international language skills are an advantage.
