What Will You Do

  • Product Mastery & Deep Knowledge of WhatsApp Business Platform
  • In-Depth Product Expertise: Maintain a comprehensive understanding of WhatsApp Business Platform's features, capabilities, and integrations. Stay updated on new product releases, updates, and innovations to effectively communicate its value proposition.
  • Solution-Oriented Selling: Focus on WhatsApp Business as a solution tailored to client needs, highlighting how the platform can help businesses enhance customer engagement, streamline communication, and drive sales, rather than just positioning WhatsApp as a standalone product.
  • Client Acquisition & Negotiation Skills
  • Monthly Client Acquisition: Set and achieve monthly client acquisition targets, using a proactive approach in reaching out to new leads and converting them into customers.
  • High-Level Negotiation & Deal Closing: Lead negotiation processes, ensuring alignment between client expectations and WhatsApp Business offerings. Focus on closing deals efficiently while ensuring long-term client satisfaction.
  • Relationship Management: Foster relationships throughout the sales cycle and beyond, maintaining a high level of customer engagement even post-sale, to encourage renewals and upselling opportunities.
  • Lead Generation & Networking
  • Proactive Lead Generation: Take ownership of the lead generation process, including canvassing, cold calling, and leveraging LinkedIn to identify potential clients. Maximize personal connections and past professional networks to generate leads.
  • Old Clients & Network Utilization: Reconnect with previous clients or leads from prior roles or companies, nurturing those relationships to identify new opportunities for WhatsApp Business adoption.
  • Database Management: Ensure leads are tracked, nurtured, and followed up appropriately, maintaining a healthy sales pipeline.
  • Selling WhatsApp as a Solution, Not Just a Product
  • Consultative Selling Approach: Understand the specific challenges of each client and demonstrate how WhatsApp Business Platform can be customized to solve these issues. Position WhatsApp as a strategic business tool, not just a messaging service.
  • Tailored Presentations & Demos: Deliver presentations and product demos that speak directly to the client's needs, focusing on ROI, customer engagement, and process efficiency.
  • Building Trust: Emphasize long-term value and trust-building with clients by showing how WhatsApp can support and scale their business communication efforts over time.
  • Cross-Functional Team Collaboration
  • Collaborating Across Teams: Work closely with Sales, Product, Account Management, and Reporting teams to ensure smooth onboarding and integration of WhatsApp Business for clients.
  • Feedback Loop: Provide feedback to the Product Team regarding client challenges and feature requests to help improve the product experience.
  • Onboarding & Support: Collaborate with Account Managers and Customer Success Teams to ensure clients are onboarded seamlessly and receive continued support after the sale.
  • Internal Coordination: Maintain open communication with internal teams to address client queries and ensure all departments are aligned on client requirements and expectations.
  • Performance Reporting & Accountability
  • Track Sales Metrics: Provide regular updates and reports on lead generation, client acquisition progress, closed deals, and monthly revenue targets. Continuously monitor and adjust strategies to hit sales goals.
  • Customer Feedback Reporting: Collect client feedback and insights, reporting them back to senior management for strategy refinement and product improvements.
  • Client Success & Relationship Management
  • Post-Sale Engagement: Ensure that clients successfully implement WhatsApp Business and continue to derive value from the platform. This involves regular follow-ups, proactive problem-solving, and ensuring clients fully utilize the platform.
  • Upselling & Cross-Selling: Identify opportunities for upselling additional features or services within WhatsApp Business to existing clients, fostering long-term partnerships.

What skills and experience you will need

  • Expert Communication: Strong ability to articulate the value of WhatsApp Business in terms that resonate with clients business goals, delivering clear and compelling presentations.
  • Negotiation & Deal Closing: Exceptional negotiation skills, with the ability to close sales deals efficiently while maintaining a client-focused approach and ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Lead Generation Expertise: Proactive in generating leads through canvassing, cold calling, LinkedIn networking, and leveraging existing connections. Demonstrates resourcefulness and initiative in building a strong pipeline.
  • Consultative Sales Approach: Ability to position WhatsApp as a comprehensive business solution, not just a product, focusing on the unique needs of each client and crafting tailored recommendations.
  • Team Collaboration: Strong ability to work across multiple teams, including sales, product, and customer success, ensuring seamless service delivery and fostering a cooperative, solution-oriented environment.
  • Goal-Oriented: Demonstrated ability to meet monthly client acquisition and sales targets through a strategic, organized approach to sales.
  • Perseverance & Resilience: Displays a strong will to overcome obstacles, maintains focus through challenges, and consistently strives to reach goals, even in the face of setbacks.
