Identify, prospect, and develop new clients for certification services across targeted industries (manufacturing, oil & gas, services, logistics, etc.).
Manage and grow a portfolio of existing certification clients to secure renewals, upselling and cross-selling additional schemes.
Conduct client visits, presentations, and technical-commercial discussions to understand needs and propose appropriate certification solutions.
Prepare and follow up on quotations, proposals, and contracts in line with company pricing and commercial policies.
Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, activities, and outcomes in the company CRM and prepare regular sales reports/forecasts.
Coordinate closely with operations, planning, and technical teams to ensure proper handover, project delivery, and high customer satisfaction.
Monitor market trends, competitors, and regulatory/standard development related to certification services and propose appropriate business actions.
Represent the company at client meetings, seminars, exhibitions and industry events to promote certification services and brand image.
Achieve assigned sales targets (revenue, margin, number of new accounts) and other KPIs set by the Certification Manager / Country Chief.
Uphold Bureau Veritas values and Code of Ethics in all commercial activities and interactions with customers and partners.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Management, or related field; background in Industrial, Mechanical, Environmental, or similar is an advantage for certification business
25 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in TIC (Testing, Inspection, Certification), consulting, training, or B2B services.
Exposure to management system certification (ISO-based schemes) or related solutions is highly preferred.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing B2B customer accounts.
