About The Role
The Business Analyst acts as a bridge between business needs and technical teams (Developers, QA, UI/UX) to ensure that the systems or products being built meet business requirements, are technically feasible, and are well documented.
This role requires strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of system flows, and hands-on experience working within software development processes (Agile/Scrum or SDLC).
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Project Manager to gather, analyze, and clarify client business requirements.
- Elicit, analyze, and validate business requirements from stakeholders.
- Translate business needs into clear and structured documentation, including: Business Requirement Document (BRD), Functional Requirement Document (FRD) / Software Requirement Specification (SRS), User stories, use cases, and process flows
- Collaborate with System Analysts and Product teams to ensure requirements are technically feasible and aligned with product and project goals.
- Support the Development team by providing requirement clarifications during development and review sessions.
- Translate business needs into well-defined functional and non-functional requirements.
- Act as the main point of clarification and communication between client stakeholders and internal teams.
- Assist in defining project scope, analyzing change requests, and conducting impact assessments.
- Participate in requirement reviews, UAT preparation, and validation to ensure the delivered solution meets client expectations.
- Maintain and update requirement documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure the delivered solution aligns with business objectives and technical constraints.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC); experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role within a technology or software development environment.
- Experience working directly with clients/users and leading requirement discussions.
- Ability to translate business problems into clear, well-documented functional requirements.
- Experience participating in digital projects using Agile/Scrum or SDLC methodologies.
- Familiar with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Figma (for basic flow reviews), Miro, or similar collaboration tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Comfortable working collaboratively with Project Managers, System Analysts, Product teams, and Development teams.
- Detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Basic understanding of: System flow and high-level architecture, API and data flow, Database concepts
- Intermediate level of English proficiency (reading and writing for documentation)
