Team Introduction
As part of Daewoong Indonesia's Consumer Healthcare Marketing Team, the Brand Manager plays a strategic role in driving brand growth and market expansion by localizing global strategies into impactful execution within the Indonesian market. This role will lead end-to-end brand management, from market insight analysis and product positioning to campaign execution and cross-functional coordination, while working closely with HQ in Korea and internal stakeholders across Medical, Regulatory, Sales, and Supply Chain. You will gain hands-on experience in managing product launches, building strong healthcare professional engagement, and navigating a dynamic regulatory and distribution landscape. High-performing talents will have the opportunity to grow into regional project leadership roles and contribute to broader ASEAN market expansion, supported by structured development programs and global collaboration exposure.
Your Role in this Journey
1) Brand Strategy Localization & Execution Planning
- Localize global brand strategies developed by HQ to align with the Indonesian market environment, including consumer trends, channel dynamics, and competitive landscape
- Conduct market research, insight analysis, and competitive benchmarking to define brand positioning and product strategies
- Develop packaging, pricing, and promotional strategies tailored to Indonesian distribution channels (including both offline and online channels)
- Establish annual brand plans and execution roadmaps within the allocated marketing budget in alignment with HQ, and track performance against key objectives
2) Marketing Communication Execution
- Plan and manage professional engagement activities targeting KOLs, physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals (e.g., symposiums, workshops, CSO training programs)
- Lead collaboration with the Indonesian Pharmacists Association (IAI), including MOU establishment and development of annual pharmacist education programs and webinar initiatives
- Manage BPOM regulatory registration processes, monitor timelines, and respond to regulatory updates and changes
- Coordinate communication with HQ, distribution partners, and other stakeholders, and provide regular progress reports
3) Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders in Indonesia (Sales, RA, SCM, Medical, etc.) to support effective brand execution
- Work closely with HQ Global Brand Managers and Product Development teams to align on product strategy and marketing initiatives
- Develop product communication materials and conduct training sessions for CSO and sales teams
Who We're Excited to Meet
1) Education: Minimum of bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Pharmacy, or related field
2) Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or FMCG industry in Indonesia, relevant experience may include brand management, product marketing, sales planning, or distribution/channel management
3) Language skills: Fluency in both spoken and written English, with the ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners
4) Brand Management Competency: Solid understanding of end-to-end brand management, including product planning, campaign execution, and partnership management
Preferred Qualifications
1) Proficiency in Korean is preferred to facilitate effective communication with HQ
2) Experience in brand management and product launches within OTC, dietary supplements, or FMCG categories
3) Hands-on experience with BPOM product registration and regulatory submission processes in Indonesia
4) Experience participating in global brand launches or cross-border collaboration projects (Korean language proficiency is a plus)
5) Strong project management, communication, and leadership skills

- Develop a strong understanding of HQ's global brand strategy, guidelines, and business direction, and execute them effectively in the Indonesian market
- Provide solution-oriented feedback to HQ on market execution challenges across distribution, marketing, and regulatory areas
2) Expand Your Role as a Project Leader (PL)
- Lead end-to-end brand initiatives including product planning, distribution strategy, marketing execution, and regulatory coordination
- Demonstrate integrated leadership by coordinating cross-functional teams and external partners across sales, marketing, supply chain, and regulatory affairs
3) Develop as a Southeast Asia Market Specialist
- Build deep expertise in the Indonesian market and contribute to ASEAN expansion strategies for markets such as Malaysia, the Philippines, and Vietnam
- Strengthen capabilities in developing market entry strategies by understanding differences in distribution structures, consumer needs, and regulatory requirements across countries
