Job Description

Rosca Indonesia is launching a new venture in the hair beauty and styling tools category, targeting Indonesia's Gen Z, Millennials, and young professionals. We're building a brand that understands what modern consumers want, quality products with authentic communication and smart e-commerce strategy.

We're entering the electronics space with a data-driven, customer-centric approach and the ambition to become a category leader.

The Role

We're looking for a Brand Development Specialist who will be the founding team member for our electronics division. You'll own the entire customer journey, from product positioning and merchandising strategy to brand communication and social media marketing.

This is a rare opportunity to build something from the ground up. You'll start as a one-person team with full autonomy, and as we scale, you'll build and lead your own team.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and execute merchandising strategy for hair styling tools across e-commerce platforms (TikTok Shop, Shopee, Tokopedia, etc.)
  • Create brand positioning and communication strategy that resonates with Gen Z-Millennial consumers
  • Build and manage social media content strategy and execution for product launches
  • Analyze customer behavior, identify red flags, and optimize the customer experience
  • Design marketing mix strategies specific to electronics category in Indonesian e-commerce
  • Collaborate directly with leadership to shape product selection and go-to-market strategy
  • Own performance metrics: conversion rates, engagement, customer feedback, and sales growth

What We're Looking For

Must-Have:

  • 3+ years of experience in merchandising, brand communication, or marketing within electronics/consumer electronics category
  • Proven track record in Indonesian e-commerce (any platform)
  • Deep understanding of customer psychology in electronics purchasingwhat they want, what makes them hesitate, what builds trust
  • Strong grasp of marketing mix (4Ps) and how to apply it in fast-paced e-commerce environment
  • Data-driven mindset with ability to turn insights into action
  • Excellent communication skills in Indonesian and English
  • Self-starter who thrives in ambiguity and can work independently

Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience with hair beauty or personal care electronics
  • Content creation skills (copywriting, basic design sense)
  • Experience scaling from 0 to 1 in new product categories
  • Understanding of Gen Z-Millennial consumer trends
