Boiler Operator

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor boilers according to work instructions (WI).
• Record boiler operations in logsheets, including conductivity of steam condensate for CCP control, and report any deviations.
• Take corrective actions in case of CCP deviations following WI and supervisor instructions.
• Record daily steam and coal usage to ensure accuracy and traceability.
• Check and fulfill boiler supporter requirements (water, fuel, chemicals).
• Inspect, clean, and maintain filters and other boiler components.
• Clean the boiler and maintain tidiness of the work area.
• Report any abnormal operating conditions to supervisors immediately.
• Follow instructions from superiors to address operational irregularities.
• Implement preventive maintenance as instructed.
• Care for the boiler during downtime.
• Comply with safety regulations and company policies.
• Ensure adherence to quality management systems (ISO 9001:2000, ISO 22000:2005, Halal, SMK3, ISCC).
• Maintain equipment and workplace cleanliness at all times.
