Job Summary
Business Development (BD) & Affiliate Specialist will be responsible for building, managing, and scaling our affiliate and influencer marketing programs, specifically focusing on Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) within the cryptocurrency and blockchain space. This role is crucial for driving user acquisition, increasing brand awareness, and fostering strategic partnerships that align with our growth objectives. This person will be the primary point of contact for external partners, negotiating collaborations, and ensuring successful execution of joint marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Affiliate & KOL Strategy
- Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive global affiliate and KOL marketing strategy to drive user sign-ups and transactions.
- Identify, recruit, and onboard high-value affiliates, KOLs, and crypto communities for strategic partnerships and collaborations.
- Continuously optimize the affiliate program structure, commission models, and performance incentives to maximize ROI.
Partnership Management
- Serve as the main point of contact for all affiliates and KOLs, building strong, long-lasting relationships.
- Negotiate collaboration terms, contracts, and compensation structures with partners to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
- Provide partners with necessary marketing materials, tracking links, and ongoing support to maximize their performance.
Campaign Execution
- Plan, coordinate, and execute joint marketing campaigns, promotions, and content collaborations with affiliates and KOLs (e.g., giveaways, sponsored content). - Work closely with the Content and Design teams to ensure all partner-led content is compliant, on-brand, and optimized for performance.
Performance Analysis & Reporting
- Monitor, track, and analyze affiliate and KOL performance data using relevant platforms and tools.
- Provide regular reporting on key metrics (e.g., sign-ups, conversion rates, cost-per-acquisition) and offer actionable insights and recommendations for optimization.
- Ensure timely and accurate commission payouts to all partners.
Market & Competitor Analysis
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in crypto affiliate marketing, KOL activities, and competitor strategies.
- Identify new opportunities for partnerships and growth within emerging crypto niches (e.g., DeFi, NFTs, GameFi).
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in Business Development, Affiliate Marketing, or Partnership Management, preferably within the cryptocurrency, blockchain, or FinTech industry.
- Demonstrated success in identifying, recruiting, and managing KOLs and affiliates in the crypto space.
- Strong existing network or familiarity with prominent crypto KOLs and communities is highly advantageous.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in using affiliate tracking platforms and CRM systems.
- Familiarity with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to track and attribute partner performance.
- Excellent command of social media platforms relevant to the crypto audience (e.g., Telegram, Twitter, Discord, YouTube).
Communication & Negotiation
- Exceptional negotiation and presentation skills, with a proven ability to close partnership deals.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English (other relevant regional languages are a plus).
Industry Knowledge
- Deep understanding of the digital asset ecosystem, including major cryptocurrencies, trading mechanisms, DeFi, and NFTs.
- Passion for and an active presence within the crypto community is a strong asset.
Soft Skills
- Highly proactive, results-oriented, and able to work independently to achieve targets.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into strategic recommendations.
