One of our valued clients in the fitness and wellness industry is expanding its retail and distribution footprint, and seeking a driven Sales Manager to lead this growth. The prospective employee will lead revenue growth and market expansion, develop sales channels, manage retail/wholesale partnerships, and build a high-performing sales team. Deep knowledge of sports retail, gym communities, and modern sales strategies is essential.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets, while analyzing market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform decisions.
Build and manage the distribution network by establishing partnerships with retailers, resellers, gyms, and fitness studios, and identifying new channels such as online platforms and corporate clients.
Train and lead a high-performing team of sales promoters and resellers to drive brand growth and market penetration.
Collaborate with marketing to align campaigns and promotions, and personally lead product launches, activations, and events to build community presence.
Oversee operational success by preparing sales reports and forecasts, managing inventory planning with the operations team, and ensuring seamless execution.
Requirements
Must-Have Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
3-5 years of sales experience in sportswear, apparel, or the fitness industry
Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets
Experience managing resellers, retail partners, and leading a sales team
Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
Self-motivated, target-driven, and entrepreneurial mindset
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment
Nice-to-Have Requirements
Existing networks within gyms, fitness centers, or sports retail (a strong advantage)
