Backend Ruby

Role Description

This is a contract role for a Backend Ruby Developer. The Backend Ruby Developer will be responsible for building and maintaining server-side applications and databases, writing clean and efficient code, troubleshooting and debugging applications, and collaborating with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. The role is on-site and located in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Ruby and Ruby on Rails
• Experience with server-side logic and database management
• Troubleshooting and debugging skills
• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for integrating user-facing elements
• Strong understanding of design principles behind a scalable application
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Good understanding of RESTful API design and development
• Bachelor&aposs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
