Job Description

  • Lead and mentor a development team to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Review code and ensure best practices in quality, security, and performance.
  • Analyze technical issues and provide effective solutions.
  • Design and implement scalable systems using microservices architecture.
  • Manage CI/CD pipelines and apply DevSecOps practices.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders using Agile methodologies.
  • Utilize AWS services such as S3 and SES.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Information Technology
  • 35 years of experience as a backend developer
  • Strong leadership, critical thinking, and analytical skills
  • Proficient in code review and problem-solving, with the ability to analyze, evaluate, and identify effective solutions
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • Preferably experienced in leading teams using Agile principles and familiar with the insurance domain
  • Solid understanding of microservices architecture, messaging, CI/CD, DevSecOps, and AWS services (SES, S3)
  • Hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, React Native, Angular, or ReactJS
  • Experience with Quarkus and Kafka is preferrable
  • Keeps up to date with IT trends and emerging technologies
  • Willing to work on-site (WFO)
