As a Backend Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, testing, and deploying elegant software solutions that impact millions of investors. You will collaborate with product and business leaders to provide solution guidance, mentor fellow engineers, and contribute to our startup engineering culture with ideas and suggestions.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy elegant software solutions impacting millions of investors.
- Deliver high-performance, low-latency services with complex requirements.
- Build and optimize fault-tolerant distributed systems under rapid growth demands.
- Collaborate with product and business leaders to provide solution guidance.
- Share past experiences and mentor fellow engineers in improving their crafts together with work discipline.
- Contribute actively to our startup engineering culture with ideas and suggestions.
- Deploy to hybrid environments and provide technical assistance.
Work Arrangement
- Placement: South Jakarta
- Work setup: Hybrid (23 days onsite per week)
- Contract duration: 36 months (depending on interview results and experience), with possibility of extension
- Immediate joiners are highly preferred, as we are hiring for multiple headcounts.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3 years of software development experience, preferably in distributed systems or full-stack architecture.
- Highly proficient in one or more programming languages, including Java & Golang.
- Experience in C++/.NET.
- Solid knowledge of Kafka, Redis, Cassandra, and MySQL.
- Skilled practitioner of deployments onto cloud (AWS, Azure, etc.) and on-premise environments.
- Experience with FIX (Financial Information eXchange) protocol is a bonus.
- Tuning and query optimization is a plus.
- Able to work individually with limited guidance, responsible for their work, and self-motivated.
- Passionate about technology and software development. Owns an innate desire to never stop learning.
