Job Description

Responsibilities

Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of automation systems in the factory.
Manage team of engineers/technicians to execute automation projects and troubleshooting.
Identify opportunities for automation to improve productivity, quality, and safety.
Design and oversee the installation of automated equipment, robotics, jigs, and fixtures.
Collaborate with Production, EHS, IE, and CI teams to ensure automation projects align with business needs.
Develop standard work instructions, preventive maintenance plans, and training for operators/technicians.
Manage project timelines, budgets, and reporting to management.
Drive innovation by exploring new technologies (IoT, robotics, data integration) for manufacturing excellence.
Support audits, customer visits, and technical presentations related to automation initiatives.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or related fields.
Minimum 12 years experience in automation or manufacturing engineering (leadership experience preferred).
Fresh graduates with strong leadership and people management skills will be considered
Excellent English language skills are preferred (both written and spoken).
Strong knowledge in PLC programming, robotics, sensors, and industrial control systems.
Proficient in AutoCAD / SolidWorks for mechanical and electrical design.
Strong project management skills, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
Good communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
