Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as an Assistant Farm Manager, located in Bedugul, Bali. As a Farm Assistant Manager at LYD Group, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our organic farm. You will assist in planning and implementing farm activities, managing farm resources, supervising farm staff, and ensuring the highest standards of productivity and quality are maintained. We are looking for a dedicated individual who is passionate about sustainable farming and has strong leadership and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Previous experience in a similar role or demonstrated knowledge of farm management
  • Strong understanding of sustainable and organic farming practices and principles
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage resources effectively and maintain high standards of productivity and quality
  • Familiarity with agricultural machinery and equipment
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Passion for agriculture and a commitment to sustainable and organic farming
  • Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labor as required
  • Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
  • Knowledge of local farming regulations and practices

Qualifications:

  • At least 3-5 years of relevant work experience and a relevant college degree, within the fields of organic/regenerative agriculture farm management, focused on agricultural education.
  • Budget building and operational management.
  • Knowledge and passion for community farming, food justice, and food systems development.
  • Strong knowledge of agricultural equipment uses and safety.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship development skills.
  • healthy, fit, and energetic figure.
  • Good with Microsoft Office Word & Excel in creating reports.
  • Fluent in English, both reading and writing are a must.
