Role Overview
The Assistant Manager, Solutions is responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of customized logistics solutions for e-commerce marketplaces and retailers. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teamsincluding Operations, Finance, Commercial, Tech, and Network Planningto ensure the delivery of scalable, customer-centric logistics products that drive commercial and operational excellence.
The ideal candidate is a problem solver and strategic thinker with a strong background in logistics, capable of managing complex solutions and aligning multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Solution Development & Launch
- Design and implement tailored logistics solutions across ground and air transportation, customs, and supply chain optimization
- Manage the end-to-end solution lifecyclefrom initial requirements gathering to deployment and post-launch support
- Ensure solutions meet customer expectations, align with operational capabilities, and achieve financial targets
- Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with Operations, Finance, Tech, and Network Planning to create efficient and scalable logistics processes
- Collaborate with the Commercial team to understand client needs and translate them into actionable solutions
- Facilitate communication and coordination across departments to ensure alignment and successful solutions implementation
- Performance Monitoring & Continuous Improvement
- Leverage qualitative insights and quantitative data to guide solution decisions
- Gather feedback from stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities
- Facilitate structured problem-solving discussions to drive clarity, decisions, and ownership
- Lead continuous improvement efforts to enhance outcomes and customer satisfaction
- Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions
- Team Collaboration & Leadership
- Collaborate closely with Regional Solutions team to align local execution with regional strategies, frameworks, and priorities.
- Promote a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence
- Mentor and coach commercial team members involved in solution development
- Contribute to the development of best practices and standard operating procedures
Requirements
Experience: 4-5+ years in logistics, supply chain, or related roles, with hands-on experience in managing logistics solutions or product launches.
Industry Knowledge: Experience in e-commerce, retail logistics, or 3PL is preferred.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field (Master's degree a plus).
Technical Skills
- In-depth understanding of cross-border logistics, air freight, customs, and delivery operations
- Problem-solver able to translate customer challenges into clear, executable solution designs
- Strong data analysis skills; able to use performance metrics to guide decisions
- Familiarity with logistics technology platforms or ERP systems is a plus

- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with strong execution discipline
- Structured and detail-oriented with strong organizational and planning capabilities
- Strong leadership, prioritization, and decision-making capabilities.
