JOB SUMMARY
Assistant Director of Revenue is responsible for maximizing revenue performance across one or more properties by optimizing pricing, distribution, and inventory strategies. This role requires a deep understanding of market trends, demand forecasting, segmentation strategy, and OTA/channel management to support both topline growth and profitability.
What you will do:
Revenue Strategy Development
- Develop and implement pricing strategies that optimize revenue across all segments and distribution channels.
- Conduct detailed analysis of market trends, competitor performance, and booking behavior to inform strategic decisions.
- Identify new revenue opportunities and demand drivers across transient, group, and corporate business.
Forecasting & Budgeting
- Lead the forecasting process for rooms revenue, providing weekly, monthly, and annual outlooks.
- Collaborate with Finance and Sales teams to align forecasts with budget targets and business goals.
- Ensure forecasting accuracy and consistency by leveraging historical data and forward-looking trends.
Inventory & Distribution Management
- Manage room inventory and restrictions across all distribution systems to balance occupancy and ADR.
- Optimize channel mix by analyzing cost of acquisition, channel performance, and conversion rates.
- Monitor and update rate parity and channel competitiveness in real time.
Collaboration & Commercial Support
- Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Reservations teams to align strategies and optimize business mix.
- Support promotional planning and evaluate impact of campaigns on revenue and market share.
- Train property-level teams on revenue tools and best practices.
Reporting & Analysis
- Deliver performance reports, pickup analysis, and pace trends for senior management review.
- Monitor KPIs including RevPAR, RGI, ADR, and occupancy to ensure targets are met or exceeded.
- Analyze and present business intelligence to support data-driven decisions
DNA:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Revenue Management, with at least 2 years in a senior or multi-property role.
- Strong experience with RMS (Revenue Management Systems), PMS, CRS, and OTA extranets.
- Deep knowledge of pricing strategy, forecasting, and segmentation in hospitality.
- Analytical mindset with strong Excel and system-based reporting skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written); additional languages are a plus.
