About the Role:
As an Assistant Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in managing and growing our existing channeling partnerships to drive sustainable credit growth. You will work closely with business partners and internal stakeholders to identify portfolio growth opportunities, optimize existing partnerships, and ensure smooth execution of business initiatives.
You will also be responsible for monitoring partner performance, analyzing business results, and addressing operational or partnership-related issues. This role requires a strong combination of business acumen, analytical thinking, relationship management, and execution skills to turn partnership opportunities into measurable business impact while ensuring compliance with applicable banking regulations and internal policies.
What You'll Do:
- Manage and strengthen relationships with existing channeling partners to achieve credit disbursement targets.
- Identify opportunities to optimize existing partnerships and grow the credit portfolio.
- Monitor and evaluate partner performance, business achievements, and portfolio development.
- Identify market opportunities and develop initiatives to support sustainable credit growth.
- Analyze business performance and provide insights and recommendations to support business strategy and decision-making.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and partners to ensure smooth execution of business initiatives.
- Support the resolution and escalation of partnership or operational issues to maintain business continuity.
- Ensure business initiatives comply with applicable regulations, internal policies, and governance requirements.
About You:
We are looking for a commercially minded and results-oriented professional who is passionate about business development, partnerships, and financial services. You are comfortable working with multiple stakeholders, analyzing business performance, and turning market opportunities into actionable initiatives.
You will be a strong fit for this role if you have:
- A minimum Bachelor's degree (S1) from a reputable university.
- At least 3 years of experience in the financial services industry, with relevant experience in Sales, Marketing, Business Development, or Partnership.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
- Good understanding of credit products, banking operations, marketing, and financial services.
- Knowledge of applicable banking regulations and OJK/Bank Indonesia requirements.
- Strong relationship management, communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
- Excellent collaboration and networking capabilities, with the ability to work effectively across functions and with external partners.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
- Adaptable, proactive, and comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- A strong sense of ownership, urgency, and commitment to achieving business targets.
- Willingness to travel based on business and partner requirements.
Nice to Have:
- Relevant risk certification in accordance with applicable OJK requirements.
- Experience managing strategic partnerships or channeling arrangements within banking, fintech, or other financial services.
- Experience in portfolio growth, credit distribution, or partnership optimization.
