We are seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager Mining (Coal & Mineral Processing) to drive sales growth and strengthen market presence across Kalimantan. This role is responsible for developing the Mining market segment with strong exposure to Coal Mining as well as Mineral Processing / Smelting operations, delivering profitable growth, and positioning the company as a preferred industrial solutions provider.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and expand sales activities within Coal Mining (mandatory) and Mineral Processing / Smelting (preferred) market segments in Kalimantan.
  • Promote industrial and engineering solutions to establish the company as a preferred partner for piping systems and process-related solutions.
  • Define and implement Mining segment sales strategy in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  • Identify, develop, and secure new projects and key accounts across mine owners, processing plants, and smelter operations.
  • Deliver profitable growth through structured sales execution, pipeline management, and strategic account development.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, consultants, EPCs, contractors, and subcontractors.
  • Engage with design consultants and contractors throughout the entire project life cycle, from early specification, tender stage, to project execution.
  • Coordinate with distributors when necessary to ensure on-time supply for major projects.
  • Apply strong technical expertise in piping, valves, pumps, and process systems during technical discussions, specifications, and sales negotiations.
  • Ensure compliance with Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) policies and Quality Management Systems (QMS).
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM reports, including project pipeline, OTP reports, and competitor analysis.

Job Requirements & Qualifications :

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar sales or key account management role within the Mining or Industrial sector.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering (Sales & Marketing qualification is a plus).
  • Strong experience in Coal Mining industry is mandatory .
  • Experience in Mineral Processing and/or Smelting operations is advantage.
  • Proven experience selling industrial products and engineering services, including Piping systems, Valves, Pumps, Fittings, Process automation solutions, and Mechanical & electrical systems
  • Strong technical understanding of fluid transport, water treatment, chemical handling, and processing plant systems.
  • Established network within Coal Mining and Mineral Processing / Smelting ecosystems, including owners, consultants, EPCs, and contractors.
  • Strong sales, marketing, and CRM reporting skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and interpret technical drawings/designs.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and project management skills.
  • Willing to travel frequently to job sites and remote mining locations.
