ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration tests to identify security weaknesses in systems, networks, and applications.
- Analyze vulnerability scan results and prioritize remediation efforts based on risk levels and business impact.
- Configuring the vulnerability scanner tools and scheduling vulnerability scans.
- Validate vulnerability scanner tools result or threat intelligence report.
- Collaborate with the security team to enhance the effectiveness of security controls and monitoring mechanisms.
- Stay up to date on emerging security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry trends to enhance vulnerability assessment practices.
- Develop vulnerability assessment report.
QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum Associate Degree (D3) in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in a cybersecurity-related role.
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Hands-on experience with vulnerability assessment tools such as Nmap, Metasploit, BurpSuite, OpenVAS, WebInspect, Acunetix, Nessus, Qualys, or Rapid7.
- Good understanding with industry standards and frameworks such as CVE, CVSS, OWASP, and NIST.
- Good understanding Strong understanding of endpoint telemetry, adversary behaviors, and MITRE ATT&CK.
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation and tool development is desirable.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
