Job Description

We are seeking an Analyst to join the Corporate Finance team of a leading industrial company in the natural resources sector. This role requires strong capability in financial modelling, stakeholder engagement, and strategic planning to support the company's growth initiatives.

Description

As an Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting both Corporate Finance and Investor Relations activities. Your responsibilities include:

  • Analysing financial reports to support strategic decision-making.
  • Building and maintaining financial models from scratch.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with investors and stakeholders.
  • Preparing financial presentations, reports, and documents for stakeholders.
  • Monitoring market trends and industry developments to guide financial planning.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and forecasting.
  • Assist in the preparation of investment proposals and related documentation.

Additionally, our client is looking to hire a DCM (Debt Capital Markets) Analyst:

  • Support debt financing, refinancing, and capital market activities.
  • Assist in lender presentations, credit analysis, and financing documentation.
  • Conduct benchmarking of debt instruments, yields, and market conditions.

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • 2-3 years of fulltime experience in a similar role, Big 4, consulting, or transaction-related environment.
  • Strong understanding of financial analysis, reporting, projections, and due diligence.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (modelling) and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with investors and stakeholders.
  • Exposure to the industrial or natural resources sector is beneficial.
  • (For the additional role) Familiarity with Debt & Capital Markets, financing instruments, and credit analysis.
