AI Specialist Squad Lead (Contract-Based)

We are looking for a dynamic Squad Lead to guide our AI/LLM technology development squad. This role will oversee the design, development, and deployment of cutting-edge AI/LLM solutions that support business transformation and innovation. The right candidate will combine strong leadership skills with deep technical expertise in transformer models and a solid understanding of linguistics to create impactful AI/LLM applications.

Key Responsibilities :

* Lead and mentor a team of AI engineers and developers.

* Drive end-to-end AI/LLM solution development and deployment.

* Collaborate with business units to identify and deliver high-impact AI use cases.

* Ensure compliance with data security, governance, and regulatory standards.

* Stay ahead of emerging AI trends and recommend new technologies.

Qualifications :

* Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science, AI, Linguistics, or related field (PhD a plus).

* 7+ years in software/AI development, including 3+ years in a leadership role.

* Hands-on experience with transformer models (e.g., OpenAI, Llama, Qwen, Mistral).

* Solid understanding of linguistics and its application to language models.

* Proficiency in Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and it's integration with LLMs for improved contextual accuracy.

* Strong skills in Python, ML frameworks (PyTorch/TensorFlow), and MLOps.

* Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and containerization.

* Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
