Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for aData & AI Automation Analystlocated in Heathwood, QLD. You will combine data analysis with AI-driven predictive modeling and workflow automation to deliver actionable insights for student migration and career pathways. Day-to-day tasks include building predictive models for visa success/lead scoring, automating data extraction via Python scripts, designing n8n workflows to integrate AI predictions into our CRM systems, creating visualizations/reports, and collaborating with teams to ensure data compliance and strategic alignment.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop Python scripts for data extraction (APIs, databases, Excel/CSV), cleaning, and feature engineering from migration/education datasets.
- Build and deploy predictive analytics models (e.g., scikit-learn for classification/regression) to forecast outcomes like student success rates or churn.
- Create and maintain n8n workflows to automate data pipelines, trigger AI predictions on events (webhooks/forms), and push results to CRM/email tools.
- Integrate AI tools (LLMs/APIs like OpenAI/Anthropic) for tasks like classification or summarization, with basic MCP/agent knowledge for monitoring workflows.
- Generate dashboards (Power BI/Tableau) and reports; communicate insights to stakeholders on trends and opportunities.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience in data analytics and basic machine learning/predictive modeling.
- Proficiency inPython(pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn) for scripting, data manipulation, and model building; ability to write reusable scripts/APIs.
- Working knowledge ofSQLfor querying/joining datasets; experience with data cleaning and ETL processes.
- Practical experience withn8n(workflows, nodes, webhooks, Code node for Python) and exposure to AI integrations (prompting, APIs).
- Familiarity withMCPor AI agent tooling (conceptual understanding preferred, not full expertise required).
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) and statistics (metrics like accuracy, ROC-AUC).
- Excellent communication skills for presenting findings and collaborating with stakeholders.
- Attention to detail for handling large, messy datasets while ensuring Australian Privacy Act compliance.
- Relevant degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field; side projects in AI/automation a strong plus.
