Job Description:

  • Produce quarterly (6+0, 9+0, 9+3, 12+0) GIECA balance sheet and Economic Capital Requirement (ECR) along with the analysis.
  • Produce quarterly (6+0, 9+0, 9+3, 12+0) Available Economic Capital (AEC) and Economic Capital Requirement (ECR) Profit & Loss along with the analysis of the movement.
  • Provide supporting submissions to Group (e.g. 1-in-200 undiversified ECR, Lite Model Grouping Template, Asset Data Input Template, Prophet Automation Input Template, Base Run Reconciliation Template) for annual calibration of GIECA risk drivers.
  • Maintain and update GIECA documentations (e.g. Balance Sheet & Capital Calculation Methodology Specification, Lite Model Methodology Specification, Calibration & Validation Record, Management Action Plan, Balance Sheet & Capital & P&L Record, SOP).
  • Produce GIECA BP submissions (e.g NB Plan Template, NB 1-in-10 AEC, Attachment A).
  • Support GIECA Adhoc tasks (e.g. ICS (Insurance Capital Standard), GIECA Methodology Changes).
  • Produce semi-annual Data Request Form (input for economic assumptions).

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics or Statistics.
  • Actuarial exams recognition from Actuarial Society (PAI/SOA/equivalent).
  • 13 years of actuarial experience, with exposure to financial reporting and valuation.
  • Strong knowledge of Actuarial reporting.
  • Familiarity with actuarial modelling tools (e.g., Prophet) and data tools (Excel, SQL).
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
