Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 1–3 years of experience in accounting/finance roles, with exposure to AP/AR and reconciliations
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, including journal entries, GL, and financial statements
- Familiar with inventory accounting and COGS is a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and experienced in using accounting software (e.g., Accurate, SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to work accurately under tight deadlines (especially during closing period)
- High integrity and strong sense of responsibility
Responsibilities:
- Manage General Ledger activities, including preparing and posting journal entries, maintaining account balances, and ensuring accurate transaction recording
- Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and monitor cash movements
- Oversee inventory transactions, including reconciliation with warehouse data, stock opname support, and COGS calculation
- Execute month-end closing activities (accruals, prepayments, adjustments) and ensure timely and accurate completion
- Prepare account reconciliations and maintain proper documentation for audit trail purposes
- Support the preparation of financial reports (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet) along with relevant analysis for management
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with accounting standards across all reports
- Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and support as needed
