Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Accounting & Reporting Manager to oversee our accounting operations, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and deliver accurate financial reporting. This is a key role that will involve leading a team of accounting professionals and collaborating closely with other departments to drive financial performance and strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full accounting cycle and prepare timely and accurate financial statements and reports in accordance with relevant accounting standards and regulations
- Ensure compliance with tax, regulatory, and audit requirements
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to enhance control, accuracy, and efficiency
- Supervise and mentor the accounting team, fostering professional growth and development
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to support strategic decision-making
- Coordinate internal and external audits and prepare necessary documentation
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent professional certification is a plus
- 5+ years of experience in accounting and financial reporting
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and standards
- Experience with financial software and ERP systems; proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders
- Experience in a tech-driven environment, preferably within the fintech sector, is preferred
