As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced and detail-driven Accounting Officer to lead our finance operations and ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting. This role is perfect for someone with a strong accounting background in hospitality or property management and a proactive mindset toward problem-solving and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle daily accounting activities including accounts receivable, accounts payable, petty cash, and bank reconciliations.
  • Record and reconcile guest payments, including cash, transfers, and OTA transactions.
  • Perform audits to verify recorded revenues against bookings and occupancy reports.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of villa operational expenses, including utilities, supplies, and maintenance costs.
  • Prepare and review monthly and quarterly financial reports for internal management.
  • Support the preparation of budget plans and provide simple variance reports.
  • Work closely with Villa Managers and the Operations team to ensure complete and accurate financial documentation.
  • Monitor and organize supporting documents such as invoices, receipts, and vendor payment confirmations.
  • Implement and uphold basic internal controls to safeguard financial accuracy and transparency.
  • Assist in other accounting and finance-related tasks as requested by Financial Controller, General Manager or Co-Founder.

General Qualifications

  • Proven Experience: Minimum 1 years in an Accounting or Finance role, preferably in hospitality, property, or villa management.
  • Detail-Oriented: High attention to detail, accuracy, and organization.
  • Analytical Skills: Able to interpret financial data and make recommendations.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Xero, Accurate, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Communication: Fluent in English and Indonesian with strong written and verbal skills.
  • Integrity & Professionalism: Upholds confidentiality and ethical financial practices.
