Accounting Manager

Modinity is a retail lifestyle group that currently curates 7 brands such as Buttonscarves, Benang Jarum, ZYTA, Nada Puspita, Calla the Label, TYGA, and Rizman Ruzaini. Started our journey in 2016 with single online store, we aim to bring modest fashion trends to everyone. With passionate and dynamic team, we are able to establish hundreds of stores and expand our wings overseas.

As our business continues to grow globally, we are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee accounting operations for our overseas entities and ensure accurate, timely, and compliant group financial reporting. This role will work closely with overseas finance teams, auditors, and internal stakeholders to support the Group's financial reporting and expansion initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the month-end closing process for overseas entities, ensuring timely, accurate, and complete financial reporting
• Manage the Group consolidation process, including foreign currency translation, intercompany reconciliations and eliminations, and consolidation journal entries
• Review financial reports to ensure compliance with Group accounting policies and applicable financial reporting standards
• Coordinate with external auditors and internal stakeholders to facilitate statutory audits and Group reporting requirements
• Lead the budgeting process for overseas entities and monitor budget performance
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, reporting accuracy, and internal controls across overseas operations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Accounting or Finance, including at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role
• Proven experience in group consolidation, including intercompany reconciliations, eliminations, consolidation journals, and multi-currency reporting
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards, with experience managing financial reporting for multiple entities
• Experience coordinating with external auditors and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
• Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
