Position Summary

This accountant is responsible for supporting the company's daily finance operations, including vendor payments, cash-flow management, internal fund transfers, expense reviews, tax administration, and regulatory reporting.

The position ensures that financial transactions are processed accurately and on time, supporting documents are complete, and all activities comply with the company's policies, approval matrix, internal controls, and applicable Indonesian tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Payable and Payment Processing

  • Review, verify, and process vendor payment in accordance with the applicable approval matrix.
  • Process payments to vendors accurately and within agreed payment terms.
  • Process inter-company payments and maintain complete supporting documentation.
  • Verify invoices, purchase orders, contracts, tax documents, and other payment-supporting documents.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and vendors to resolve incomplete documents, discrepancies, or payment-related issues.
  • Maintain accurate payment records and ensure all transactions are properly documented and filed.
  • Monitor payment schedules to prevent late payments, duplicate payments, and operational disruptions.

Petty Cash and Cash Advances

  • Review monthly petty-cash and cash-advance submissions from store staff.
  • Check the completeness, accuracy, business purpose, and approval of supporting documents.
  • Follow up on outstanding cash advances and incomplete expense settlements.
  • Prepare reconciliation summaries and escalate overdue or non-compliant submissions.
  • Ensure petty-cash and cash-advance activities comply with company policies.

Treasury and Cash-Flow Management

  • Prepare and maintain cash-flow allocations based on approved operational requirements.
  • Process and document internal fund transfers between company bank accounts or entities.
  • Prepare accurate weekly cash reports for management review.
  • Monitor bank balances, upcoming payments, and short-term funding requirements.
  • Support cash forecasting and highlight potential cash shortages or excess balances.
  • Perform bank and internal transfer reconciliations and promptly investigate discrepancies.
  • Maintain appropriate segregation of duties and controls over all treasury activities.

Tax Administration

  • Assist with the preparation, filing, and payment of tax related matters.
  • Compile all shipments completed during the current month.
  • Prepare manual VAT invoice listings for each applicable invoice.
  • Review supporting information for completeness and accuracy before uploading it into Coretax.
  • Upload VAT-related data into Coretax within the required reporting deadlines.
  • Maintain organized tax records and supporting documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
  • Coordinate with relevant internal teams to resolve missing or incorrect shipment, invoice, or tax information.

Regulatory Reporting

  • Prepare the quarterly LKPM (Investment Activity Report) for PMIDD.
  • Collect and validate the financial, operational, investment, and employment information required for LKPM reporting.
  • Coordinate with relevant departments to obtain accurate supporting data.
  • Ensure LKPM submissions are completed accurately and within the regulatory deadline.
  • Maintain submission evidence and supporting documents for future reference or regulatory review.

Internal Controls and Audit Support

  • Ensure all transactions follow company policies, delegated authority limits, and internal control procedures.
  • Maintain complete and well-organized records for payments, cash transactions, tax filings, and regulatory reports.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing requested documents and explanations.
  • Identify control weaknesses, recurring documentation issues, and opportunities to improve finance processes.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of financial, banking, employee, and vendor information.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in finance operations, accounts payable, treasury, taxation, or a similar role.
  • Practical knowledge of Indonesian VAT administration and tax documentation.
  • Experience using Coretax or similar Indonesian tax-reporting systems.
  • Familiarity with LKPM reporting is strongly preferred.
  • Experience processing vendor payments, reviewing expense claims, and preparing cash-flow reports.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
  • Experience using accounting, banking, or ERP systems is preferred.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
