Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate the operations of the business team, ensuring efficient execution of projects and alignment with strategic objectives.
- Develop and implement project management processes and systems across the business team to enhance productivity and ensure consistent delivery of high-quality outcomes.
- Serve as a key liaison between the business team and other departments, facilitating cross-functional collaboration to meet project goals and company-wide initiatives.
- Manage external stakeholder relationships, including clients, partners, and vendors, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project expectations and deliverables.
- Lead the planning, execution, and closing of projects, overseeing all phases from initiation through to completion.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resources, making adjustments as necessary to address challenges and ensure project success.
- Conduct regular project review meetings with team members and stakeholders to provide updates, gather feedback, and make informed decisions.
- Implement risk management strategies to identify potential project issues early and develop mitigation plans.
- Analyze project outcomes and performance, using insights to drive continuous improvement in business team operations and project management practices.
- Advocate for the needs and priorities of the business team, ensuring they are considered in company planning and decision-making processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field. Master's degree or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of project management experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role overseeing business operations or external projects.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement project management processes and systems in a dynamic business environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and interact effectively with external stakeholders.
- Proficient in project management software and tools, such as Asana, Trello, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset focused on operational efficiency and continuous improvement.
- Experience in managing projects across various disciplines, including marketing, sales, and digital transformation.
- Familiarity with the digital marketing landscape and trends is a plus.
Collaboration with Other Departments:
- Business Development Team: Coordinate on client acquisition and expansion projects, ensuring operational capacity to deliver on new business.
- Marketing Department: Collaborate on the execution of marketing and branding initiatives, aligning project management practices with campaign goals.
- Finance and HR Departments: Work closely to manage project budgets and resource planning, including staffing and talent development.
- IT and Digital Teams: Ensure technology projects and digital initiatives are integrated smoothly into business operations.
