Responsibilities

  • Support AD country lead to manage AD demand pipeline & deployment in country

Actively work with community & relevant functions (eg. SD, Ops, PI) and provide assistance (eg. data analytical) on the site or opportunity assessment on developing/identifying/exploring technology based on AD toolkits, for low/high complexity tech (eg. robotics). Review key technologies including market trending, POC, standardized module, and do a high level identification of sites that fit a particular technology, as well as coordinating with suppliers and request solution proposal and pricing.

  • Support AD project deployments

Responsible for performance tracking, monitoring and governance of AD and non-AD deployment plans in country, including towards other global/regional annual agenda/target. Work with country stakeholder to ensure that appropriate internal resources have been allocated to each AD implementation project where BCA has been approved. Lead vendor liasion on AD opportunities in country such as getting proposals, conducting site evaluations or trials.

  • Project management, communication & reporting

Document status report, lessons learnt, benefit measurement, manage the case study, and conduct post implementation reviews within country and region. Communicate overall AD&A status (eg. deployment progress, technology trending, etc) within Country SMT, country community/team, and Regional/Global team.

Requirements

  • Strong operational background in the supply chain industry
  • Experince in Performance Management, productivity and continuous improvement methodologies highly desirable
  • Experience in managing multiple tasks and projects, especially operational and business improvement projects that are cross functional.
  • Good influencing and communication skills
  • Good analytical skills and experience in both qualitative and quantitative analysis
  • Knowledge of local/regional industry trend, and having network are a plus
  • Bachelor degree at minimum, Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng) is preferred
  • Leadership skills is required with good influencing, communication, & facilitation skills
  • Experience working within supply chain operations is essential for this role
  • Experience in managing multiple tasks and projects, especially operational and business improvement projects that are cross functional.
  • Basic computer skills, including spreadsheets & presentation, using applications such as Microsoft Office, and other relevant working tool applications
  • Ability to influence, motivate, inspire, manage stakeholder internal & external, include manage change management are required significantly in this role
  • The role holder must be dynamic, goal orientated, strategic thinking: enabling all functions & operations in the country to achieve mission & vision of DHL
  • Ability to work in a dynamic & multi-cultural environment, to collaborate & work with all levels within the country organization
  • Strong in Process understanding and LEAN approach
  • Passionate about accelerated digitalization, automation, and technology field in general
