We are looking for a passionate and creative 3D Animator Intern to join our dynamic team and work on exciting game-based projects. As a 3D Animator Intern, you will collaborate with game developers, artists, and designers to create high-quality, realistic animations for characters, environments, and game objects. Responsibilities:
- Create high-quality 3D animations for game characters, creatures, vehicles, and other interactive objects.
- Work closely with game designers and developers to ensure smooth animation integration within game mechanics.
- Assist in the creation of game assets by animating objects and characters to bring them to life.
- Maintain consistent animation styles and adhere to the project's visual direction.
- Optimize animations for performance in game engines (e.g., Unity, Unreal Engine).
- Collaborate with the 3D modeling and design teams to ensure animations align with the overall aesthetic and technical requirements of the project.
- Participate in team meetings and provide creative input during project brainstorming sessions.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Animation, Game Design, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of 3D animation principles, such as timing, weight, and fluidity.
- Proficiency in 3D animation software (e.g., Autodesk Maya, Blender, or similar).
- Experience with game engines (e.g., Unity, Unreal Engine) is a plus.
- Understanding of rigging, skinning, and motion capture processes is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, remote environment.
- A portfolio showcasing your 3D animation work, preferably including game-based projects.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working on game-based projects (personal or professional).
- Familiarity with character and object animation in the context of gameplay mechanics.
- A passion for gaming and an understanding of game development processes.
