Job Description

Manage daily transportation operations, including fleet scheduling, delivery routes, and coordination with transportation partners/vendors.
Manage and analyze transportation costs, including evaluating fleet utilization, efficiency, and cost optimization.
Monitor and analyze transportation performance, including on-time delivery, cost per shipment, and fleet utilization, and take corrective actions when deviations occur.
Manage relationships with third-party transportation vendors, including performance evaluation, contract negotiation, and resolution of operational escalations.
Ensure compliance with transportation SOPs, safety regulations, and delivery service quality standards.
Coordinate with warehouse/fulfillment functions to ensure a smooth outbound flow through to distribution points.
Provide transportation operational data and insights to support distribution network transformation initiatives led by the Transformation Management Lead.
Manage and develop the team under the function to ensure consistent readiness and smooth daily operations.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree (S1) in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Transportation Management, or other relevant fields.
Minimum 10 years of experience in transportation/logistics management, with experience managing teams and vendors.
Strong ability to analyze operational data, including costs, route efficiency, and delivery performance, to support daily decision-making.
Strong negotiation and vendor/transportation partner relationship management skills.
Strong understanding of transportation regulations and delivery safety standards.
Strong field leadership skills, with the ability to handle operational escalations quickly and systematically.
Strong cross-functional communication skills, particularly with warehouse/fulfillment teams and the Transformation Management Lead.
