Key Responsibilities

Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing and prospective clients.
Conduct regular client visits, meetings, and presentations to understand business needs and identify opportunities.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop customized shipping and logistics solutions.
Prepare and negotiate quotations, pricing, and commercial terms to secure new business.
Attend industry events, networking sessions, and other business activities to generate new leads.
Support the development and execution of sales and marketing strategies to achieve business growth targets.
Monitor and report sales activities, pipeline progress, customer accounts, and performance metrics.

Requirements

Proven experience in Sales, Business Development, or Marketing within the shipping, logistics, or freight forwarding industry.
Strong exposure to Export & Import business across international markets, including USA, Asia, Latin America, Europe, and other regions.
Hands-on knowledge of logistics services such as FCL, LCL, Air Freight, and Value-Added Services (VAS), including trucking, customs clearance, insurance, and related solutions.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to establish trust and credibility with clients.
Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and commercial skills.
Proactive, target-driven, and comfortable working independently in a field-sales environment.
