Job Description

Lead and oversee all accounting and tax operations to ensure financial transactions are accurately recorded, properly documented, and completed in a timely manner.
Ensure compliance with Indonesian Financial Accounting Standards (PSAK), prevailing tax regulations, and internal corporate policies.
Maintain strong financial controls and governance across all accounting activities.
Direct the company's budgeting process, including annual budget preparation, monitoring, and performance tracking.
Analyze budget realization and financial performance trends, providing actionable recommendations to management.
Support strategic planning and business decisions through accurate financial analysis and reporting.
Establish and maintain robust financial documentation and record-management processes.
Ensure accounting records and supporting documents are properly organized, secure, and readily available for audits, regulatory reviews, and internal assessments.
Coordinate with auditors and regulatory bodies to meet compliance requirements.
Lead the implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of financial reporting standards, including IFRS 17 / PSAK 117.
Ensure readiness of systems, processes, and financial data to support regulatory and group reporting requirements.
Oversee the preparation and submission of reports to regulators, auditors, and corporate stakeholders.
Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to the accounting and finance teams.
Collaborate with senior management and cross-functional stakeholders to drive financial transparency and operational effectiveness.
Promote a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement.

The Successful Applicant

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Professional certification such as CPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent is highly preferred.
Minimum 10-15 years of progressive experience in accounting, taxation, and financial reporting, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
Strong understanding of Indonesian Financial Accounting Standards (PSAK) and taxation regulations.
Hands-on experience with IFRS 17 / PSAK 117 implementation and reporting.
Experience within the insurance, financial services, or highly regulated industry is strongly preferred.
Proven experience in budgeting, financial planning, audit coordination, and regulatory reporting.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams in a dynamic business environment.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills in both Bahasa Indonesia and English.
