Job Description
- Lead and oversee all accounting and tax operations to ensure financial transactions are accurately recorded, properly documented, and completed in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with Indonesian Financial Accounting Standards (PSAK), prevailing tax regulations, and internal corporate policies.
- Maintain strong financial controls and governance across all accounting activities.
- Direct the company's budgeting process, including annual budget preparation, monitoring, and performance tracking.
- Analyze budget realization and financial performance trends, providing actionable recommendations to management.
- Support strategic planning and business decisions through accurate financial analysis and reporting.
- Establish and maintain robust financial documentation and record-management processes.
- Ensure accounting records and supporting documents are properly organized, secure, and readily available for audits, regulatory reviews, and internal assessments.
- Coordinate with auditors and regulatory bodies to meet compliance requirements.
- Lead the implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of financial reporting standards, including IFRS 17 / PSAK 117.
- Ensure readiness of systems, processes, and financial data to support regulatory and group reporting requirements.
- Oversee the preparation and submission of reports to regulators, auditors, and corporate stakeholders.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to the accounting and finance teams.
- Collaborate with senior management and cross-functional stakeholders to drive financial transparency and operational effectiveness.
- Promote a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certification such as CPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent is highly preferred.
- Minimum 10-15 years of progressive experience in accounting, taxation, and financial reporting, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Strong understanding of Indonesian Financial Accounting Standards (PSAK) and taxation regulations.
- Hands-on experience with IFRS 17 / PSAK 117 implementation and reporting.
- Experience within the insurance, financial services, or highly regulated industry is strongly preferred.
- Proven experience in budgeting, financial planning, audit coordination, and regulatory reporting.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams in a dynamic business environment.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills in both Bahasa Indonesia and English.
