Role Description
We are hiring a Zendesk Configuration Specialist with strong hands-on experience in Zendesk Support and other Zendesk product configuration.
This role is execution-focused and configuration-heavy. We are not looking for a consultant or advisor. The ideal candidate enjoys building, configuring, and maintaining Zendesk environments and is comfortable working directly in production systems.
WHAT YOU WILL DO (RESPONSIBILITIES):
- Configure and maintain Zendesk Support environments
- Build and manage:
- Ticket forms, fields, and workflows
- Triggers, automations, macros, SLAs, and views
- Groups, roles, and permissions
- Configure and support related Zendesk products, including:
- Zendesk Guide (Help Center structure and basic configuration)
- Zendesk Chat and Talk (channel setup and routing basics)
- Integrate Zendesk with other systems and tools (e.g. CRM, internal tools, third-party platforms)
- Optimize and improve existing Zendesk configurations
- Troubleshoot configuration-related issues and implement fixes
- Maintain configuration quality and follow Zendesk best practices
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR (REQUIREMENTS):
- 23 years of hands-on Zendesk configuration experience
- Strong practical experience with Zendesk Support (Admin Center)
- Working knowledge of other Zendesk products (e.g. Guide, Talk, etc.)
- Experience integrating Zendesk with other systems or external tools
- Zendesk Certified Support Administrator (required minimum)
- Tech-savvy mindset with the ability to understand systems beyond Zendesk
- Ability to work independently without step-by-step guidance
- Solid understanding of Zendesk workflows and ticket lifecycle
- Fluent English (written and spoken)
- Ability to attend in-person interviews and assessments at our Bali office
NICE TO HAVE:
- Zendesk certifications for Guide, Chat, Talk, or Explore
- Experience working in a Zendesk Partner or implementation environment
- Experience working with APIs, webhooks, or middleware tools
