Role Description The Youth Lead is a part-time, remote role responsible for designing, coordinating, and supporting youth-focused initiatives related to financial literacy and community engagement. On a day-to-day basis, this role collaborates with internal teams to plan youth programs, develops educational and outreach materials, and communicates with youth participants and partners through online channels. The Youth Lead facilitates virtual sessions or workshops, gathers feedback from youth participants, and uses insights to improve program content and delivery. The role also includes maintaining accurate records of youth activities, monitoring participation, and ensuring that programs align with the bank's values and regulatory requirements. This position requires proactive communication, organized planning, and a strong commitment to youth development in a remote environment.
Qualifications
  • Experience in youth-focused roles, including Youth Leadership, Youth Programs, and Youth Work, with a demonstrated ability to engage and motivate young people.
  • Strong Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication, active listening, and the ability to present information effectively to youth audiences.
  • Background or familiarity with Social Work or community engagement, with an understanding of youth needs, inclusivity, and ethical practices.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and evaluate programs, including scheduling activities, managing virtual events, and tracking participation and outcomes.
  • Comfort working remotely, with good time management skills, reliability, and proficiency in common digital tools and online collaboration platforms.
  • Relevant education or training in youth development, social sciences, education, or a related field is beneficial.
  • Experience in financial literacy, education, or community banking environments is an advantage.
