WWTP Mechanical Trainer (Filipino)

HIRING: Trainer (Mechanical) – WWTP Project

Jakarta | Project: 2027 – 2029 | Contract-Based

We are currently supporting a major infrastructure project and looking for a Trainer (Mechanical) to join a wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) project in Jakarta.

This is a key technical role focused on hands-on training, commissioning support, and operations readiness—ensuring that plant operators are fully equipped to run and maintain mechanical systems safely and efficiently.

What you'll be doing

You will be part of the core Training Team, working closely with the Chief Trainer and engineering stakeholders across two major phases:

Commissioning & Pre-Training Phase

• Support mechanical commissioning activities (Dry Run, Wet Run, start-up)
• Assist in planning and executing site mechanical works
• Deliver hands-on pre-training for operators (equipment, safety, troubleshooting, basics of O&M)

Operations & Maintenance Training Phase

• Conduct daily mechanical O&M training and coaching for local teams
• Monitor equipment performance and support preventive maintenance
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving mechanical issues on-site
• Guide proper use of manuals, procedures, and maintenance standards
• Support spare parts handling, maintenance planning, and reporting
• Ensure strong adherence to safety practices across all mechanical works

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 8 years of experience
• At least 3 years in WWTP mechanical design, operation, or maintenance
• Strong technical knowledge in pumps, blowers, mixers, valves, sludge systems, etc.
• Comfortable working in commissioning and site-based environments
• Strong English communication skills (Bahasa Indonesia is a plus)
