Role

We are looking for a WordPress and Shopify Developer to join our Jakarta office. This role is ideal for someone who is confident in developing, customising, and maintaining high-quality websites across WordPress and Shopify platforms.

You will work closely with our designers, strategists, and project team to turn approved designs into responsive, user-friendly, and high-performing websites that meet both creative and business goals.

The ideal candidate has strong technical skills, a good eye for detail, and hands-on experience with website builds, theme customisation, plugin or app integration, and ongoing website support.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain websites using WordPress and Shopify

Convert approved UI designs into responsive and functional web pages

Customise WordPress themes and Shopify themes based on project requirements

Build and manage CMS structures, page templates, and reusable content sections

Install, configure, and troubleshoot plugins, apps, and third-party integrations

Support ecommerce implementation including product pages, collections, cart, and checkout-related frontend setup

Optimise websites for speed, responsiveness, SEO readiness, and overall performance

Test websites across devices and browsers to ensure consistency and usability

Troubleshoot website issues, bugs, and content-related problems

Support website migration, updates, backups, and maintenance for live websites

Work closely with designers and internal stakeholders to ensure design quality and smooth implementation

Provide basic training or handover support to clients or internal teams when required

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred

Proven experience in WordPress and Shopify development

Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive web development

Experience customising WordPress themes and Shopify themes

Good understanding of Shopify Liquid and WordPress CMS structure

Experience with page builders and tools such as Elementor, Gutenberg, or similar

Experience with WooCommerce is a plus

Familiarity with plugin and app integration, website maintenance, and troubleshooting

Good understanding of website performance optimisation, SEO basics, and cross browser compatibility

Experience using Git or similar version control tools

Strong attention to detail and a good sense of design implementation

Able to manage timelines and handle multiple web projects efficiently

Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with designers and strategists

Good To Have

Experience with ACF, custom post types, or reusable content modules in WordPress

Experience with Shopify app setup and ecommerce workflow configuration

Basic knowledge of hosting, domain, DNS, and deployment processes

Experience in agency environment is a plus
