Role Description
This is a contract-based, hybrid role for a Web Developer. The position is located in Jakarta, Indonesia, with the flexibility to work from home for part of the time. The Web Developer will be responsible for designing, coding, and modifying websites, from layout to function, according to client specifications. Daily tasks include front-end and back-end web development, programming, and ensuring user-friendly designs that meet performance and functionality requirements.
Key Points
- Develop, test, and maintain high-performance web applications using Laravel and Phalcon frameworks.
- Execute high-quality UI Slicing, converting designs (Figma/Adobe XD/Sketch) into clean, responsive, and interactive code.
- Manage and optimize web server configurations specifically using Nginx.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Back-End Web Development and Programming
- Minimum of 2+ years of professional experience in PHP development.
- Deep expertise in Laravel and hands-on experience with Phalcon Framework.
- Proficiency in Front-End Development
- Proficiency in Tailwind CSS and Bootstrap to create modern, mobile-first interfaces.
- Knowledge of responsive design methodologies
- Strong knowledge of relational databases (Oracle/MariaDB) and query optimization.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
- Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git) is preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid environment
- Solid understanding of Nginx (setup, virtual hosts, and performance tuning).
Bonus Points
- Experience with Docker or containerized environments.
- Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks (Vue.js or React).
- Familiarity with RESTful API design and third-party integrations.
